Install notes
  • Portable mode: the library lives in %APPDATA%\BandBinder. To run fully portable (library stored next to the app), create an empty file named portable.txt next to bandbinder.exe before first launch.
  • SmartScreen: if Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click "More info", then "Run anyway". The app is signed, but SmartScreen trust can take time to build.
  • Missing VCRUNTIME140.dll: install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable once - any up-to-date Windows 11 PC already has it.
  • Updating: no installer - unzip the new download above over the old folder. Your library is stored separately and is never touched by an update. The app tells you in-app when a new version is out, so there's no need to check back here manually.
