Bands keep original and unreleased material in BandBinder, so "who can see my songs" matters. Here's the honest, plain-language answer - no compliance badges, no jargon, nothing we can't back up.

• Your songs live on your device first. BandBinder is offline-first - your library is stored locally and works with no connection. Performance Mode never needs the internet.
• Synced copies are encrypted in transit and at rest. All traffic uses TLS/HTTPS. Cloud copies live in Google Cloud (Firestore/Cloud Storage), encrypted at rest by default.
• Access is band-scoped, deny-by-default. Only members of your band can read your band's songs, setlists, and notes - enforced server-side by security rules, not by the app UI.
• You control membership. Leaders invite via join code and can rotate codes and remove members at any time.
• We never scrape, sell, or share your content. Your imported charts and lyrics are yours. No ads, no analytics on song content.
• Honest caveat. A device that synced your band's songs keeps its last local copy if that member is later removed - same as any offline-capable app. Removing a member stops all future access.
